The short version: we don't collect your notes, or anything else about you. There's no account, no analytics and no advertising. What you write stays on your devices and in your own iCloud.

What the app stores, and where

• Your notes (symptoms, mood, periods, medicines and doses, tags and written notes) are stored on your device.
• If you're signed in to iCloud, Apple syncs them to your private iCloud database so they appear on your other devices. Apple encrypts that data, and we can't read it. We have no server of our own that holds your notes.
• Settings (which symptoms and tags you show, how often the check-in comes, whether the lock is on) are stored on your device.

What we collect

Nothing from the app. It contains no analytics, no crash-reporting service, no advertising code and no tracking. We never sell, share or look at your health information, because we never receive it.

Features that use Apple's services

• Reminders are scheduled on your device. They don't pass through us.
• Face ID lock is handled entirely by iOS. The app only learns whether unlocking succeeded.
• Plus purchases go through Apple. Apple tells the app whether a subscription is active; we don't receive your payment details or Apple ID.
• Export creates a file on your device that you choose where to send. We never see it.

Deleting your notes

Settings → Delete everything removes every note from your device and from your iCloud. Deleting the app removes what's on the device; iCloud data can also be removed in your iPhone's Settings → your name → iCloud.

This website and the waitlist

This site uses no cookies, analytics or third-party fonts. If you join the waitlist, we keep what you enter (your email, your kind of phone, whether you'd like to test, and your optional note) on our host, Cloudflare. We use it only to write to you about Mirabelle (a test version, the launch) and to decide what to build, and delete it on request. We don't keep your IP address with it.

Children

Mirabelle is intended for people aged 16 and over.
